Great Canadian Burger
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs (675 g) lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) rolled oats
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) prepared Epicure’s Steak Sauce (find recipe online)
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) Epicure’s Sweet & Spicy Mustard
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Epicure’s Seasoning for Burgers
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.2. With water-moistened hands, form mixture into 6 patties, each about 1” (2.5 cm) thick, or prepare burgers using Epicure’s Burger Press.
3. Place patties on a barbecue grill over medium-high heat. Close lid and cook for 5 minutes.
4. Flip patties and top with prepared barbecue or grilling sauce. Continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until Epicure’s Pocket Thermometer indicates a Food Safe internal temperature of 160° F (71° C).
Lemon Dilly Potato Salad
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) light mayonnaise
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Dijon-style mustard - optional
- 2 tsp (10 ml) Epicure's Lemon Dilly Dip Mix
- 4 cups (1 L) cooked, diced potatoes
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped or cut into wedges
- Epicure's Sea Salt, to taste
- Epicure's Black Pepper, to taste

1. Mix first 3 ingredients in a bowl.
2. Add remaining ingredients, toss to combine and serve.

Warm Summer Fruits
Ingredients
- 2 peaches, cut into 8 wedges
- 4 plums, cut into wedges
- 1 cup (250 ml) raspberries
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) blueberries
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) water
- 3 Tbsp (45 ml) Epicure's Summer Berry Fruit Dip Mix
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Epicure's Raspberry Vinegar
Instructions
1. Prepare fruit as directed and set aside in separate bowls.2. Preheat a medium or large Epicure's Eclipse® Coated Professional Frying Pan over medium-high heat.
3. Add water, Summer Berry Fruit Dip Mix and Raspberry Vinegar. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
4. Add peach and plum wedges and cook for 1 minute.
5. Remove from heat and gently stir in berries. Serve on ice cream or with yogurt
